Getting the Christmas Tree!

Today we went and got our Christmas Tree! Korey and I were so excited, we could barely wait to take Hailey and do this Christmas tradition with her. :) We ended up having a rather lazy Sunday morning, this morning. I didn't have to teach Sunday school, so we had decided to take the morning off of Sunday School and just go to Church, but Hailey had a runny nose again and was rather whiny, so I wasn't sure we could put her in the nursery, so we just ended up staying home and letting her get a good nap. It worked, too, she woke up well rested and her "cold" or whatever it was was gone! Yay!! :) So, we decided that we could probably take her out and get our tree.
Here Hailey and Korey are before we headed out. Daddy even dressed her this morning- didn't he do a good job???
We went to Paulson's, a BIG Christmas place in Mosinee. They have a Christmas barn filled with super cute stuff and really neat looking fans- which Hailey just couldn't keep her eyes off of! :)
It also had a nice little wood burning stove that we warmed up in front of for a little while!
After the barn we headed out to pick out our tree!!
Korey carried Hailey there (and the tree back...what a guy!) :)
Hailey was so cute all bundled up in the little snowsuit that her Nani bought her. It has a little knit jacket and a super adorable pair of pink snowpants. Plus, her Daddy bought her a little hat, that has adorable tassles and mittens that match, and her mommy made her a litte fleece scarf!
Korey cutting down our tree! He's so strong- he cut it down in record time! :) (or maybe it's just because our tree has a super skinny trunk...but, I'm gonna go with the he's so strong theory!)
Hailey was super happy with our tree choice :)
Here we are on our way back to the car...look at how red her little nose is, I think she's has enough of the cold weather!
look at how strong Hailey's daddy is, he can carry a whole tree all by himself!
We had so much fun getting our tree, but I think it wore Hailey out...she came home and screamed in her bed for about a half an hour until she finally fell into an exhausted sleep! Luckily she slept for a long time and Korey and I got a chance to put up the tree, decorate it, find some pine bows for our flower box at the yard waste site and decorated them with lights, clean the garage and organize the shed so that I could put my car in the garage for the winter, and cut out little blocks for Hailey for Christmas! (we just have to sand them and they'll be good to go- I'm excited to give them to her...they're gonna be so fun for her to play with and chew on!!) :)
