imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

I don't know who first said this phrase, but my Mom used to quote it to me all the time when I was growing up and my brothers would copy me...I never appreciated the wisdom of it until I had a little girl who imitated my every move! Now I know the truth behind those words- it truly is the sincerest form of flattery!
Hailey loves to hold Jackson and always wants to rock him in the rocking chair- just like I do!!
she loves to feed her babies while wearing my nursing wrap. I made her her own wrap, but she refuses to wear it, she just wants to use mine!
She's even become quite the electronic lady these days...always wanting to play on my Ipod and chat on my cellphone! It's pretty cute, but I'm thinking that I shouldn't have taught her how to use the doodle app on the Ipod, I might regret it someday soon!!

  1. Love it! Sebastian is the same way...kids are just too smart! He always wants to hold baby brother and I catch him saying 'there, there.' 'It's ok.' or 'I'm right here.' He also likes to say 'I'm pumping,' though he generally doesn't really try to do it. :) Trevor has shown him how to play on his ipad - he even has downloaded game/doodle apps for him. But like you said, I'm starting to regret it, because he always wants to play it!
